Figs on Friday_wtrNeed a little inspiration for nutritious and tasty breakfast ideas?  The featured picture only takes about a minute longer to make than your usual spread on toast.  Simply spread some low fat ricotta on wholegrain toast, add sliced figs, drizzle with honey and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.  Your spread on toast just got a bit fancy!

Serves 1

Ingredients

2 slices of wholemeal toast with grains and seeds

2 tbl reduced fat ricotta

2 small figs

2 tsp honey

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Per serve

1226 kj, protein 12.4 g, total fat 5.7 g, sat fat 2.1 g, carbs 44.9 g (sugars 20.7 g)
