Everyone loves a smoothie! My favourite at the moment is both filling and surprisingly satisfies a chocolate craving. The ingredients are simple: 1 ripe medium/large banana + 1 to 2 tablespoons of good quality cocoa/cacao powder + 1 cup ice + 1 cup milk of choice. It’s as easy as that and tastes divine. Don’t be tempted to use an unripe banana though as it won’t have the same sweet and creamy texture. This amount could serve two or one!
(Based on 2 serves made using a large banana, reduced fat milk and 2 tablespoons cacao powder)
